Summarised Reading/ Mapping

Team SDLC conducts different online/offline courses with summarised reading/mapping strategy throughout the session. Each course incorporates the most insightful and enriched content of study. As a result, our students gain proficiency in applying their hands-on insight in summarizing, identifying what is most important, and restating the concept in their ways, which is essential for academic success.

The Summarised Mapping activity provides students with practice using the comprehension strategy retelling to improve their understanding of what they learn and to foster a greater understanding of the structural features of the concept.

Summarised Mapping teaches students how to discern the essential ideas in the content of the study and integrate the central ideas in a meaningful way. Our subject experts focus on Summarised Mapping strategies, such as mind-maps, bullet points, retelling, and writing frames, in almost every content area. Teaching students to summarise reading strategy improves their memory for what is learnt.
